Specializing in children ages 3-7 and parents with young children.

I’ve been working with children across the developmental spectrum for 15 years now through my various roles in schools, childcare, and now as a therapist. I strongly believe each child’s needs are unique. What works for one child or family doesn't necessarily work for the next. Some children’s behaviors are more difficult to understand, and some feel deeply in ways their peers do not. I’m here to offer you a non-judgmental space to explore your family's current dynamics and which changes can help create a more harmonious and enjoyable household.

I am a play therapist specializing in working with young children and their caregivers. I received my Bachelor’s in Social Welfare and Justice from Marquette University and my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Chicago. My passion for violence prevention led me to become a child therapist. I have lots of experience working with families who want to end intergenerational cycles of abuse, children/families who have endured trauma, and families who have been impacted by the criminal legal system and/or the foster care system. I am generally open to working with all children and parents that need extra support with emotional regulation and want to promote healthy relationships within their families.

Play is the avenue through which children learn. Therefore, I use play activities to facilitate new experiences of connection and understanding between you and your child. Through play, we will explore what techniques help your child feel emotionally regulated. I will also support you in managing the inevitable stress of being a parent.

While I enjoy working with children of all ages, I specialize in working with young children (3-7) and their parents. I strongly believe that early intervention is the most powerful time to intervene when something doesn't feel right. It’s never too early to start building a strong foundation for your family that you can continue to benefit from for years to come.
